PUCA Holds 15th Legislative Walk Day on April 4
Forty-two Legislators and their staff registered to attend PUCA's 15th Legislative Breakfast. PUCA presented a video called "Seeing is Believing" that is produced by NUCA.
"We thought if we showed this video it would allow legislators to visualize what we must do to comply with the requirments under the PA One Call law," stated President Jim Dacey. "As the room fell silent, it was clear they were listening," commented Steve Worthington of D. Worthington Sales Associates.
NUCA develops two new business management online services to assist contractors:
1) Contracts Risk Management Manual - 1st Chapter is now complete
2) Member Contractor Procedures Sharing
PUCA fights for a grandfather clause for experienced crane operators under House Bill 647.
Bruce Hottle (Eagle Concrete Products) and PUCA Executive Director, Brenda Reigle, attend a newly formed Sewage Task Force to discuss PUCA’s proposed Trust Fund legislation and other alternative funding options to ensure clean water for Pennsylvania. Read more about it here.
