The Governor approved PA-SB 1104, which amends the Underground Utility Line Protection Law at 4:00 p.m. 11-29-2006.  The final version that was approved was PN 2127.

Democrats take the House
The counting was completed in Chester County yesterday and Democrat Barbara McIlvaine Smith took a 23 vote lead in the 156th district, thereby shifting the majority in the House to the Democratic Party. Challenges to the results are expected.

Mechanics' Lien Law Changes
6-29-06 Harrisburg - The Governor signed into law House Bill 1637, PN 4229 which changes the Mechanics' Lien Law of 1963.  The bill now becomes Act 52 of 2006.
